Tinnitus can feel relentless—but how do you distinguish what genuinely helps from what's simply noise?
Join the Pindrop Foundation Adult Cochlear Implant Consumer Group for a practical, informative session with Duncan Hann, Senior Clinical Audiologist from Hann Audiology. Duncan, who brings extensive experience both as an audiologist and a former professional musician living with tinnitus himself, will travel from Christchurch specifically to present this session.
Though Duncan's exact topic is still to be confirmed, you can expect him to discuss:
- How tinnitus interacts with cochlear implants and hearing aids
- Effective sound therapy techniques, including music choices to manage tinnitus
- Practical advice on questions to bring to your audiologist (and what questions to skip)
There will be plenty of opportunity for audience questions and discussion.
About Duncan Hann, MAud (UoA), MNZAS:
