If you’re interested in the future of cochlear implants — especially how we make access fairer and services more sustainable — this is a chance to be part of a truly global conversation.

CI Advocacy in Action 2025
📅 16–17 October 2025
📍 Maison des Associations Internationales, Brussels
🕘 Day One: 09:00–17:00
🕘 Day Two: 09:00–16:30
The event brings together people from across the cochlear implant community — users, families, clinicians, researchers, policy makers and funders — to share real-world experience and discuss practical ways to improve services and access, especially in the face of growing financial and resource challenges.
Topics will include:
- Making sure those who need CI can get it — and keep getting support
- Delivering services differently and more effectively
- Working together across sectors and countries
- Ensuring equity, especially for older adults and those in low- and middle-income countries
Speakers include:
- Rob Beenders, Belgian Minister and CI user, who will open the event
- Carolina Der, WHO Technical Officer for Ear and Hearing Care
This is not just a conference — it’s an opportunity to connect, contribute, and help shape the global direction of cochlear implant advocacy.
